NAFA’S 2022 INSTITUTE & EXPO COMES TO COLUMBUS APRIL 11-13

EDISON, N.J. (March 29, 2022) – NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA), the vehicle fleet industry’s largest membership association, will host the premier fleet industry event when NAFA 2022 Institute & Expo (I&E) ascends on Columbus, OH. The 2022 I&E is scheduled April 11-13 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Over three action-packed days, attendees will receive the tools, resources, and education needed to maximize their fleet operations.

In an industry that is quickly evolving, I&E provides an opportunity to rethink how fleet organizations approach their missions through incredible keynote presentations, an Expo Hall with extended hours, ground-breaking educational sessions, invaluable networking opportunities, specialized learning enhancements, and more. I&E has something to offer everyone, from those just starting their careers to professionals who have decades of experience. Fleet managers from every segment including corporate, government, public safety, utility, education, and more will forge industry connections and strengthen existing ones during 22+ hours of engaging networking events.

I&E will host more than 25 educational sessions, instructed by industry and topic experts from across fleet. Attendees will acquire useful tools, knowledge, and skills regarding fleet’s most relevant topics, including fleet electrification, workforce management, vehicle-to-everything technology, asset management, and more. Inspiring keynote speakers will go deep into the science of goal achievement, motivation and habit formation and learn how to use leadership to save lives in the fleet industry. Former CEO of LeasePlan USA, Mike Pitcher will serve as the closing keynote. His inspiring message on “How to Save a Life”, will encourage fleets to implement better practices that will reduce distracted driving and save lives.

This year’s state-of-the-art Expo Hall will feature more than 175 leading industry suppliers showcasing their best-in-class fleet products and services. Various educational events will take place in the Expo Hall, providing extended learning opportunities on the industry’s most relevant topics. New to this year’s Expo Floor is Career HQ, where informational sessions on NAFA’s Certification program, the 100 Best, and more will be hosted. Returning in 2022 are the Supplier Solutions Theaters sessions, which feature 20-minute mini-sessions from fleet’s leading suppliers. These informative sessions will provide fast answers to the industry’s toughest challenges directly on the Expo floor. I&E offers two special and informative add-on programs: the Pre-Conference Certificate Program, “A Guide to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) (DOT) Maintenance and Compliance” (April 10), and the Leadership Development Institute. The Pre-Conference DOT training will provide fleet managers with the knowledge needed to maintain compliance with countless federal and state program regulations; and the Leadership Development Institute, will explore the strategies used by high achievers and top project managers to be their best.

The expert education and premier networking does not end after the in-person event concludes! I&E will continue via a virtual experience from April 25-27. The I&E Virtual Experience encompasses 15 brand new educational sessions, four general sessions, virtual networking opportunities and access to OnDemand archives.
