FLAGFA Pre-Conference Workshop: CAFM Boot Camp, Discipline – Asset Management Certificate Program

March 20 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Fleet management is asset management. Fleet professionals are responsible for the selection, procurement, use, care and remarketing of their employer’s fleet vehicle and equipment assets, and in many cases, for non-fleet equipment and infrastructure. How well these assets are managed can have a profound impact on the profitability of a company or the cost effectiveness of a public agency. This course will explore the topics of Strategic Sourcing, Vehicle Specifications and Selection, Procurement, Active Management and Remarketing.

The course includes:

** Asset Management Digital Manual and Study Guide – sent starting March, 2024.

** Online Exam – First sitting is included. Additional sittings may be purchased if needed.

** Certificate will be awarded to all participants who pass the online exam by March 20, 2025.

Faculty: Tim Coxwell is the Fleet Director for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee, FL, serving since 2013 and CAFM certified. Tim manages 576 vehicles, six technicians and advises his staff on complex plans to encourage Fleet Customers and Fleet Staff Members to work closer than ever to accomplish our sustainable goals. The CAFM experience has been the cornerstone of his fleet recovery.
