NAFA’s Essentials of Fleet Management Seminar Returns In Person This Fall

Philadelphia Seminar Offers Newer Fleet Professionals Hands-On Tools, Templates and Peer Learning

Edison, N.J. (June 23, 2025) NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) the vehicle fleet industry’s largest membership association, is pleased to announce the launch of registration for its 2025 Essentials of Fleet Management Seminar (EFMS), taking place October 20–21 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square.
Returning as an in-person event for 2025, this immersive program is designed for professionals who are new—or relatively new—to fleet management and are looking to build a strong foundation of knowledge, skills and industry connections. Developed by experienced fleet leaders, the EFMS provides a unique, hands-on learning experience in a collaborative, supportive environment.

About the Essentials of Fleet Management Seminar
EFMS equips attendees with tools and templates they can apply immediately, such as:

  • Life cycle cost analysis spreadsheets
  • Vehicle selection and VEU analysis tools
  • Risk management grids and fleet policy templates
  • Fleet performance and fuel efficiency metrics

Participants will explore critical concepts including vehicle selection, maintenance strategies, risk management and policy development. The two-day agenda features expert-led sessions, cohort-based discussion and plenty of opportunities to network with peers from across the country.

EFMS is ideal for early-career fleet professionals and those seeking a refresher on core strategies. Many attendees use the seminar to prepare for future promotions or to chart a path toward NAFA’s Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM®) designation.
