Tim Coxwell, CAFM, serves as Fleet Director for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee, Florida, a role he has held since 2013. He oversees a fleet of 593 vehicles and leads a team of six technicians, fostering collaboration between Fleet Customers and Staff to achieve the agency’s sustainability goals. Tim credits his CAFM certification as a cornerstone in transforming and strengthening his fleet operations.

Sara Burnam is a seasoned fleet management professional with 28 years of industry experience, including 17 years leading public sector fleet operations. Her career spans key roles at the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the State of Ohio, and Palm Beach County, where she directed a fleet of 4,800 assets, managed a $34 million budget, and led award-winning initiatives in technology, efficiency, and employee engagement. Sara has been nationally recognized as Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year, was nominated for the 2025 Public Fleet Hall of Fame and was featured in Government Fleet’s 20 Under 40 and FLEETSolutions: Future of Fleet. Under her leadership, Palm Beach County earned top 10 rankings in the 100 Best Fleets. She obtained her CAFM in 2014, her bachelor’s degree from the Ohio State University, and her master’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Currently, Sara serves as Fleet Success Manager at RTA and sits on the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Board of Directors, where she continues to lead through education, mentorship, and innovation. A frequent speaker and published contributor, she is passionate about sharing strategies, tools, and insights that help elevate fleet operations and empower industry professionals.
