Preventative Maintenance, Budget Forecasting & Lifecycle Planning in a 24/7 Public Agency Fleet (Mar 2026)

Operating a 24/7 law enforcement fleet leaves no room for downtime — yet many agencies still struggle with reactive maintenance, unpredictable costs, and replacement debates that surface too late.

Join Tim Coxwell, Fleet Director for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, as he shares how his team manages more than 500 police vehicles in Florida’s capital county — balancing fleet readiness, fiscal accountability, and long-range capital planning under constant operational pressure.

Coxwell will discuss how Leon County:

  • Built a data-driven preventative maintenance strategy
  • Integrated telematics, fuel systems, and lifecycle data
  • Developed long-range replacement forecasting through 2040
  • Reduced operational surprises in a high-risk, 24/7 environment

Tim will be joined by a FASTER fleet management expert to explore how public safety agencies can move from reactive maintenance to predictable readiness.

If you oversee a public safety fleet and want fewer surprises, stronger budget defensibility, and improved uptime — this session is for you.
