As the only academic program that trains diesel technicians in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area\, NOVA has a significant opportunity to expand to meet market needs. The diesel and automotive programs are strategically positioned to support and supplement the incoming Skilled Trades Center. NOVA has been awarded $15 million to build the center and construction is scheduled to start in Fall 2024.
