DESCRIPTION:Vehicle maintenance directly impacts productivity\, driver satisfaction\, corporate image\, safety\, environmental compliance\, and the finical bottom line. This discipline’s competencies will enhance understanding of\, and ability to communicate\, essential maintenance principals to in-house or outsourced personnel\, drivers\, and management. \nThis course will cover the discipline’s competencies\, including: \n\nVehicle maintenance\nShop Operations\nEnvironmental Issues\nInventory Management\nPerformance Monitoring\nOutsourcing\nMaintenance Staffing and Reporting\n\nThe course includes: \n\nNAFA’s Maintenance Management Digital Guidebook and Study Guide\nOnline Exam – First sitting is included. Additional sittings may be purchased if needed.\nCertificate will be awarded to all participates who pass the online exam within one year of registration.\n\n\n \nFaculty: Tim Coxwell is the Fleet Director for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee\, FL\, serving since 2013 and CAFM certified. Tim manages 576 vehicles\, six technicians and advises his staff on complex plans to encourage Fleet Customers and Fleet Staff Members to work closer than ever to accomplish our sustainable goals.
