DESCRIPTION:Even though many organizations have an IT staff to assist the fleet management\, there is significant value for fleet professionals to understand basic IT issues. With a general knowledge\, fleet professionals can intelligently interact with support staff to solve problems and enhance IT functionality.  \nThe purpose of this discipline is to provide fleet professionals with the tools they need to function in a data-rich—but sometimes information poor—work environment by better using the technology tools available. Topics covered included: Fleet Management Information Systems\, Fleet System Selection and Implementation\, Telematics\, Data Management and System Administration\, and Reporting and Data Analysis:   \nThe course includes: \n \n\nInformation Management Digital Guidebook and Study Guide  \nOnline Exam – First sitting is included. Additional sittings may be purchased if needed. \nCertificate will be awarded to all participants who pass the online exam within one year of registration. \n\n\nFaculty: Tim Coxwell is the Fleet Director for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee\, FL\, serving since 2013 and CAFM certified. Tim manages 576 vehicles\, six technicians and advises his staff on complex plans to encourage Fleet Customers and Fleet Staff Members to work closer than ever to accomplish our sustainable goals.
