Surviving the COVID19 Recession: Cost Containment Strategies for Fleet Managers
This is a difficult time for fleets. With all the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, budgets are going to be a challenge and the fleet budget is going to be scrutinized. Everyone must do more with less. Savvy fleet managers need to be proactive and look for efficiencies. Some of the most effective ways to deal with the current challenges are:
Right size your fleet to reduce costs.
Defend your replacement budget.
Determine how many staff you need and what services can be outsourced.
Adopt purchasing methods that allow factors other than price to be considered.
