Jeff Meggitt, CAFM®, has over 25 years’ experience in the municipal operations and maintenance environment.
In his current role as Fleet Manager for the Regional Municipality of York, he oversees a corporate fleet which includes 500 vehicles ranging from plug-in electric cars to tandem snowplows, Argos to graders. Duties include operations, maintenance, fuel supply, procurement, regulatory compliance, project management, emergency response and policy development. Through a combination of in-house and outsourced maintenance, he manages a diverse fleet of vehicles for wide ranging corporate functions.
Jeff received his Bachelor’s degree from York University, a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario and has recently obtained is CAFM® certification from NAFA. Jeff is also proud to be part of the Ontario NAFA chapter and a graduate of the Disney’s Institute for Customer Service.
