International Fleet Academy (IFA) Planning Committee

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Research educational needs of Regular Members with regard to international fleet operations; be aware of pertinent, timely fleet issues.
  • Develop entire educational program for upcoming event, including assessing suggested course topics; brainstorming relevant, timely topics; suggesting speakers and instructors; selecting moderators; and recommending Keynote Speakers.
  • Draft and approve all course descriptions and learning objectives.
  • Communicate with chosen speakers and moderators to confirm their participation.  Serve as point of contact for selected speakers.
  • Know and understand NAFA’s speaker guidelines, policies, and procedures, and communicate these to speakers.
