Certification Content Committee

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Ensure NAFA’s Certified Automotive Fleet Manager program accurately assesses relevant fleet management responsibilities in every identified domain.
  • Identify study materials relating to the relevant fleet management responsibilities in each domain.  Develop plans for consideration by the Board of Directors for creation of such material if none exists.
  • Create study materials for relevant fleet management responsibilities designated for certification.
  • Continuously review reference guides and seminar/Boot Camp curriculum for each relevant area of fleet management designated for certification; recommend updates to the Board of Directors.
  • Develop psychometrically sound exam and practice test questions for each domain.

Chair Responsibilities:

  • Encourage active participation on the Committee by Regular Members and Associate Members.
  • Attend Leadership Forum meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with the reporting Director and staff liaison.
  • Lead regularly scheduled meetings and conference calls of the committee to discuss progress and actions.
  • Serve as key liaison between committee members and NAFA staff.
  • Work with NAFA staff to ensure participation, and equal sharing of workload, by committee members.
  • Work with NAFA staff to prepare draft reports on project status for the Board.
  • Serve as a Member of the I&E Curriculum Committee.
