NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to update an existing educational Resource Guide (text book) and Associated Study Guide for the Maintenance Management Module of its Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification program.
NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to write an educational Resource Guide from a detailed outline provided and to create the associated Study Guide for a Department of Transportation (DOT) Module. Once these refence materials are developed, NAFA intends to add them as a complete module of its Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification program. This SME could be any qualified individual or organization.
On September 26-27, NAFA advocacy leaders gathered in Washington, D.C., for NAFA’s 2019 Legislative Fly-In. As part of the event, attendees heard from allied organizations from across the auto industry, federal agency staff, Congressional staff, and a variety of subject matter experts on the issues that stand to impact fleet managers and their organizations. The event culminated in a day of meetings with lawmakers, to urge their support for NAFA’s top advocacy priorities.
Launched during the 2019 Institute & Expo this past April, NAFA's Communities have been setting the pace for membership networking and interaction. Each NAFA Community goes deep into a specific aspect and/or segment of fleet.
NAFA spoke with the leader of the Educational/University Fleets Community, Michael G. Wilson, CAFM®. He is Fleet Services Manager for the University of Iowa. Mike is a longtime NAFA Regular Member with strong engagement with the Association's university fleet efforts.
