Event is Crash Course in Aligning Fleets with Today’s DOT Compliance, Safety, Accountability Measurement System
The first-ever Fleet LatAm Conference will be coming to Latin America soon, and NAFA is an Association Partner of the event! Fleet LatAm, presented by Nexus Communication (the publisher of Fleet LatAm magazine), is a two-day event for regional and international vehicle fleet decision-makers, followed by a one-day training session for fleet managers with multi-country responsibilities. NAFA Members are eligible for a 50% registration discount.
Thanks to feedback from NAFA Members, the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) and Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist (CAFS) testing processes are going online this fall. The new testing regimen will significantly improve the convenience of earning your CAFM/CAFS.
Are you deeply in need of getting your fleet compliant with Department of Transportation regulations but don't know where to start? Don't miss out on a unique opportunity to get caught up and prepared to excel. NAFA's DOT Compliance Forum, Wednesday, October 23, in Washington, D.C., is a Members-Only gathering which gives you the tools to be in-sync with all regulations and handle a DOT audit.
Phillip E. Russo, CAE, NAFA’s Chief Executive Officer, has left the association after more than 14 years at its helm.
“I have loved my time with NAFA,” Russo said. “I’ve made many great friends and have so many great memories.”
Russo, who led NAFA since 2005 as its Executive Director and CEO, had an employment contract that was set to expire at the end of this year. Russo and the NAFA Board of Directors agreed on an exit strategy that will permit Russo to leave before then.
If you ever wanted to help shape the future of the fleet and mobility industry, or if you aspire to be a leader in this ever-evolving profession, NAFA has a great opportunity for you: a seat on the Board of Directors, a select group of representatives that determines NAFA’s strategic direction, focus, initiatives, and programs. There will be one seat on the Board open for election in the 2020 term, and you may be just the right person to fill it!
