Goodbye Salt Lake City! The time has come for another Institute & Expo to come to an end and for everyone to scatter home. NAFA would like to extend a big thanks to attendees, exhibitors, volunteers and staff for making this I&E one of the best yet! The I&E may be over but there is still plenty to learn. Special Announcement - CAFM Program Partners with Ferris State!
NAFA and Ferris State University in Michigan have teamed up to provide CAFM program participants 12 semester hours of college credit for successful completion of the program. In addition, FSU also has set up a four-step degree plan which starts with the CAFM and ends in a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Fleet Management. This ground-breaking news was announced by NAFA President Gayle Pratt at Sunday's Annual Business Meeting.
Expo Floor Highlights
I&E Events
- PSG Roadeo - The Public Safety Group Roadeo at Manheim, Utah proved to be a success by drawing a large crowd to observe, test-drive and compete using various emergency service vehicles. Fleet administrators were able to run a variety of courses in the vehicles, competing with their peers in terms of agility and speed.
- Green Fleet Ride-and-Drive - NAFA's Green Zone featured the second annual Green Fleet Ride-and-Drive. This was a chance for I&E attendees to see and drive the latest alt-fuel vehicles powered by natural gas, propane, ethanol, and biodiesel. To see a complete list of vehicles, click here
