Examination Fees
CAFM examination fees are set annually. The fee is for the examination day and is not based on the parts/subjects included on the examination or retest. Current examination and retest fees for the CAFM examination are as follows:
Member/Affiliate: $200 US /$310 Canadian
Non-Member: $275 US /$425 Canadian
Candidates will be expected to remit the appropriate fee with the examination application. Individuals in the United States pay the U.S. dollar fee. For the convenience of Canadian participants, a rough equivalent of the U.S. dollar fee has been established in Canadian dollars. Individuals in Canada may choose to remit the U.S. fee in U.S. dollars or the Canadian fee in Canadian dollars. Canadians must add 7% goods and services tax to the total enclosed.
There is no deviation from the scheduled day and hour. If a candidate is unable to sit for an examination and NAFA is notified in writing at least seven days in advance, a $25 administrative fee will be deducted from the prepaid fee and the balance will be refunded. A candidate who does not appear for the examination and has not notified NAFA in writing at least seven days in advance will forfeit the examination application fee.
NAFA will make every reasonable effort to assure that examinations are conducted as scheduled and in accordance with examination procedures. If it is impractical to conduct an examination at the scheduled time, or if a problem should arise in connection with the examination through no fault of the student, NAFA liability shall be limited to a complete refund of the examination fee paid for that examination date.
In order to take the CAFM examinations, you must be enrolled in the CAFM program! Click here for details on CAFM enrollment. CAFM Exam Applications received from individuals not enrolled in the program will be returned without question or notification.
