NAFA'S CAFM Program Surpasses 300 Participants
PRINCETON, NJ, January 2, 2007– The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA), has announced that its Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program has now more than 300 active participants in addition to the its nearly 300 active graduates. By more than doubling its participants in less than a year, the CAFM program has mushroomed in size, making it the largest and most popular fleet management certification program by far.
It is also the most comprehensive, requiring an ongoing five year recertification cycle and including material for both public service and private fleets. The CAFM program is designed to identify and recognize exceptional fleet management professionals. Established over two decades ago as the Certified Fleet Management program with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and now administered solely by NAFA, the CAFM program is the oldest and most esteemed fleet certification program available.
“I am thrilled to see this level of participation in the CAFM program,” said Patti Earley, CAFM, chair of NAFA’s Certification Board. “It is a credit to each of these individuals that they have chosen to advance their knowledge and skills in our profession. It also acknowledges the value that fleet professionals, employers and the fleet industry in general place on NAFA's CAFM designation.”
At 50 years old and counting, NAFA's deep experience of the fleet management industry gives the CAFM program the weight and significance it needs to continually press forward towards excellence.
