NAFA I&E Attendance Soars, Up 47% From ’07

Princeton, NJ – Friday, March 7, 2008 – NAFA Fleet Management Association today announced that pre-registration for its 2008 Institute & Expo (I&E) is eclipsing all previous benchmarks and is up nearly 50 percent from last year’s number. 

The 2008 Institute & Expo takes place May 3-6 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The event is the largest gathering of corporate, government, public safety, and other fleet managers in the world.  The I&E also features two days of the most expansive exhibits in the industry, where vendors showcase their latest products and services for fleet managers – and where deals are done!

At press time, attendance at the 2008 I&E was nearing the 500 mark, which is 47% more than last year’s event at the same time.  Last year’s event ended with more than 2,500 fleet professionals in attendance and was the second consecutive year of increased attendance.  All indications are that this year’s attendance will far surpass last year’s total.

NAFA Fleet Management Association, formerly known as the National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA), is a not-for-profit, individual membership professional society serving the needs of Members who manage fleets of automobiles, vans, medium-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and a range of specialized mobile equipment for organizations in the United States and Canada.   NAFA Members are responsible for the yearly specification, acquisition, maintenance and disposal of more than 3.5 million vehicles.   NAFA Affiliates include automotive OEMs, fleet management service companies, suppliers, and others involved in automotive industry.
