Enrollment Deadline for the 2008 Larry Goill Memorial Quality Fleet Management Idea Awards

PRINCETON, NJ – Monday, February 11, 2008 – NAFA Fleet Management Association announces March 7 as the deadline to submit entry forms for the 2008 Larry Goill Memorial Quality Fleet Management Idea Awards. 

“This is a great opportunity for fleet managers to show their creative concepts and help others in their field save cost and increase productivity,” said Phil Russo, Executive Director of NAFA in Princeton, NJ. “This award reflects how managers in this field work together to find solutions as a team.”

Past recipients have submitted entries ranging from turning waste cooking oil into biodiesel to making a DVD in order to attract automotive technicians to work for a local county, from forming both internal and external strategic alliances to designing unique vehicles to meet unique needs. Up to three separate ideas can be submitted for consideration.  

This year’s winners will be selected by a panel of distinguished industry peers and will be honored during a special ceremony at the Institute & Expo in Salt Lake City. Criteria for judging submissions will include originality and innovativeness; demonstrated effectiveness of the practice (as documented in the entry); and applicability to other fleets.
