NAFA Membership Definitions
All Memberships are for individuals, not companies or agencies. Your membership entitles you to specific benefits and privileges not available to non-members.
Full Member
Any individual responsible for the administration (specification, purchase or lease, maintenance, disposal, etc.) of a motor vehicle fleet of at least 25 passenger vehicles (automobiles, SUVs, trucks and vans, and a wide range of specialized mobile equipment) who is employed by a company or government agency and who is not engaged in the sale, rental or lease of, or service to, motor vehicles for companies other than his/her own. Associate Member
(A) Any individual fulfilling the requirements for Full Member status who administers a fleet of less than 25 vehicles;
or
(B) Any individual whose job description requires him/her to report directly to a good-standing NAFA Full Member. Note: If you do not report directly to a Full Member, you must apply for Full Member status. Click here for application.
IMPORTANT: No Full Member may have more than five Associate Members linked to his/her account; a sixth Associate Member must apply for Full Member status.
Full Affiliate
Any individual not eligible for either Full or Associate Member status but who has a direct interest in motor vehicle fleet administration through the supply of products and/or services directly pertaining to the industry and who supports NAFA and subscribes to its aims and purposes. Regional Affiliate
Any individual not eligible for either Full or Associate Member status whose company is represented by at least one good-standing Full Affiliate. NOTE: If your company does not have at least one good-standing Full Affiliate, you must apply for Full Affiliate status. IMPORTANT: No Full Affiliate may have more than five Regional Affiliates linked to his/her account; a sixth Regional Affiliate must apply for Full Affiliate status. Click here for application.
Student Member
Any full-time (12 credit minimum), matriculating student who is pursuing a course of study which encompasses the aims and objectives of NAFA, and who also does not meet the criteria for Full or Associate Member. Education must be at college level or a trade/tech school that is post-high school. Student membership may be limited to set number of years as determined by NAFA. Relevant course of study is to be determined by NAFA. Click here for application.
International Member or International Affiliate
If you reside outside Canada or the United States, you may be eligible to become a NAFA International Member or Affiliate and receive all membership benefits and services. Click here for International Member Application. Click here for International Affiliate Application.
International Web Subscriber
