NAFA's Membership Drive
NAFA's 2008 Member-Recruit-A-Member Drive is On!
All NAFA Members and Affiliates are invited to participate in NAFA's 2008 Membership Drive to win a free registration to the 2009 Institute & Expo to be held in New Orleans, April 25-28, 2009. NAFA members know the true value of belonging to NAFA and we want YOU to be the promoter! We encourage current Members and Affiliates to share the benefits of NAFA with friends and colleagues and invite them to join.
For each new fleet manager NAFA Member that is recruited between June 1 and November 30, 2008, one ticket will be entered in a drawing to win a free I&E registration. In addition to the drawing, NAFA coupon dollars are being offered for each application processed within the contest rules.
Getting Started: Spread the Word!
- Download Member applications and don't forget to put your name under "SPONSOR" before distributing
- Look at companies/organizations similar to your employer; research via phone or web to inquire "who handles their fleet"
- Invite a colleague to a local meeting
- E-mail fellow professionals a link to the NAFA Web site (a good link to use: www.nafa.org/join)
- Contact your local chapter chair or chapter membership chair for a list of prospective members in your area or even just one name from your chapter's local Non-member list

Earn $10 NAFA Dollars for Each New Member You Bring In!
For each new Member application received with your name in the SPONSOR line, you'll receive a $10 coupon good toward any NAFA product. Have one new Member join, receive a $10 coupon. Have 5 new Members join, and receive coupons for $50 in savings! Collect all your NAFA dollars and apply to the purchase of many or just one NAFA product -- that's up to you! All the while you'll be earning chances to win a free I&E registration.
Details
1. Coupon dollars may be applied toward any NAFA product currently available in stock;
2. Coupon dollars are not to be applied to Institute & Expo registration or FMS registration
3. Participants may add coupon dollar values (collected from the 2008 Recruit A Member campaign) for purchase of one product or toward several products.
4. Coupon dollars are not to be used for shipping and handling fees.
5. Participants must return physical coupons with order via mailed or faxed order. Coupon dollars may not be used in the online store.
6. Coupon dollars are not redeemable for cash.
7. Coupon dollars expire December 31, 2008
Rules of the 2008 Membership Drive:
- Open to all current NAFA Members, Affiliates, Alumni, Honorary Members, Distinguished Service Award recipients, student members and international web subscribers.
- Sponsoring Member/Affiliate must be in good standing at time of drawing on December 31, 2008.
- One application equals one ticket in drawing. Such membership applications must be submitted and processed from June 1 to November 30, 2008. Continuing renewals are not eligible.
- Travel costs and hotel accommodations are not included in winnings.
- Up to five free registrations will be awarded.
- One registration per winner. If name of previous winner is drawn again, the ticket will be discarded, and another ticket is drawn.
- Alternative prize will not be awarded.
- All participants will be honored online, as well as on-site at the Institute & Expo.
- Winners will be notified by January 22, 2009.
